The moment you knew
The silly answer: early on, we had pizza with two different toppings – half and half – She went to get a slice and asked me which kind I wanted. I said surprise me. She brought back exactly what I wanted – one of each!
The serious answer: When I realized that I’d rather be with her than do absolutely anything else. I would find every ridiculous excuse in the book just to talk to her. And I’m still doing it to this day and plan to for the rest of my life.
How do you want to spend your 10th anniversary?
I think it would be really cool to take a week off, and take a “best of” tour of our entire relationship. Go to the place we met, relive our best dates, eat our favorite meals, and re-imagine our most significant memories. Just to remember and appreciate all of the moments that brought us to the 10 year mark, before we set out on the next decade together,
Something you’ve learned from Crystal
The responsibilities and sacrifices of having a child are totally worth it. Just this week little Vinnie said “Dave’s my best friend.” It’s the best feeling in the world.

One of our best dates was when we went to the Stress Factory to see a comedy show, and then on the way back we stopped at a carnival. We laughed pretty much from start to finish - it was fun and memorable.
The moment you knew
When I saw Dave with my son Vincent, there was a complete and very "whole" feeling that came over me. It was like all was right with the world.
How do you want to spend your 10th anniversary?
I would love to spend it surrounded by our family. Maybe even go on a vacation to somewhere tropical with everyone!
Something you’ve learned from Dave
Dave has taught me that everything happens for a reason. And what appears to be make sense and seem logical, may not always be what is right. As someone who plans everything down to the last detail, my relationship with Dave has taught me that miracles happen when you least expect them. And although things may turn out different then you ever planned them to be, they can become something better than you could have ever dreamt up. Because of him, I am learning to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!
